80+ Offences - Examiners Charged

An AIS station was found to be issuing pink slips sight unseen without the mandatory checks.  

 

Inspections conducted by Transport for NSW (Transport) during Operation Method revealed one vehicle had been re-birthed; and was a stolen and unrecovered vehicle. The vehicle was seized by police with further investigation.


Operation Method was a two-night operation in early May between Transport and the Northern Beaches Highway Patrol. It was part of Transport's ongoing compliance plans, to conduct roadside enforcement for unsafe, modified, and defective vehicles.
